How the whitening works
Our exclusive gel formula is nonabrasive, plant-derived and kosher. The whitening agents contain hydrogen peroxide and/or carbamide peroxide, which break surface and deeper stains into smaller pieces so the color appears less concentrated. Because the product is gentle on enamel, it’s chosen when clients want faster brightening without abrasive polishing.
A single session runs 60 minutes and follows a simple sequence: brief assessment, careful soft-tissue protection, application of the gel, and a controlled activation period. Sensitivity may occur for some clients; results depend on starting shade, stain type, and previous dental restorations, so outcomes vary and may require follow-up treatments.
What to expect during treatment
Before whitening we review your dental history and answer questions so we tailor the session to your needs. The process is noninvasive and completed within the booked time, making it practical for commuters, parents, or shift workers who need a reliable 60-minute appointment.
During treatment the gel is applied while soft tissues are protected; you’ll rest reclined in a treatment chair. We schedule appointments to be easy to reach from West 38th Street, Lafayette Road and I-65, with accessible parking near Lafayette Square for quick errands before or after your visit.
Factors shaping your result
Results depend on stain origin and tooth condition. Natural yellowing, tobacco or food-based stains react differently to peroxide-based whitening, and dental restorations such as crowns, veneers, or fillings will not change color like natural tooth structure, which can affect uniformity of brightness and may influence whether additional sessions are recommended.
Lifestyle and maintenance shape how long improvements last. Regular exposure to staining agents, brushing habits, and professional or home dental care all play measurable roles. We’ll discuss realistic expectations and scheduling options; follow-up visits or touch-ups may be appropriate depending on personal habits and desired shade.
